It is a comprehensive evaluation of the skills and knowledge developed throughout the first 5 courses in the program. You will be evaluated in two ways, with an integration project and a knowledge exam. Those successful in passing both components for a combined grade of C or better will be granted their certificate.

Taught by a professional photographer, you’ll  learn efficient Lightroom workflow including importing, cataloging, sorting, developing and exporting your images. Once your photo collection is organized and streamlined, you’ll polish your images by ‘developing’ (editing tools, exposure, contrast, adjusting colour, conversion to black & white, sharpening, etc.), and exporting for web or print. Business process models help businesses to understand what they do, why they do it that way, and to recognize ways to do it better. This course explores the goals and activities of business process modeling from the perspective of a business analyst, including a variety of approaches and tools such as process maps, process decomposition, organization modeling and SIPOC tables. In order to shape the future course of a business, strategy analysis is used to understand all aspects of the business - the strategic, tactical and operational. Strategy analysis helps to align the business strategy to the tactical and operational environment, enabling transformative organizational change. Effective strategy analysis seeks to answer not only the "how" of a solution, but the "what" and the "why."  This course enables students to partner with stakeholders to discover, understand, collaborate and establish specific business needs that reflect the future direction of the organization. Students also consider ways to understand the current business state, define the future state, establish the risk and change approach requirements and consider ways to measure solution performance.
- [Course BSNS 555V: Facilitation Skills for Business Analysts](https://prosit.camosun.ca/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=23498): Business analysts collaborate with stakeholders to elicit all kinds of business analysis information like requirements, plans, risks, designs, solution options and cost estimates.  In group settings, the business analyst often assumes a leadership role as a workshop leader with responsibility to elicit information.  This highly interactive course will provide the student with a variety of useful facilitation techniques, from using visual models to elicit requirements, to collaborative problem solving and consensus building.   Participants will plan and lead a short facilitated workshop, and receive feedback from their peers to help improve their personal facilitation skills.

This course will cover at a high degree of detail all the processes that make up an end to end supply chain in a manufacturing/distribution environment. (This course will run in Winter, 2020.) We welcome clients receiving care from both midwives and physicians. Our instructors are nurses with specialized training in lactation, childbirth, prenatal, and postnatal care. In this course, you will learn about the stages of pregnancy and labour, how to prepare for labour and delivery (including comfort techniques, interventions, and available options), and how to care for both the birthing person and baby.  Classes can be taken at any time, but we recommend participating in the third trimester. Emphasis is on using the software tools and understanding concepts and techniques you need to use and be productive with AutoCAD. Even at this fundamental level, AutoCAD is one of the most sophisticated computer applications that you are likely to encounter. The teaching strategy is to start with the basic tools that enable the student to create and edit a simple drawing, then continue to develop those tools.
