Course Description

This mid level course is designed to provide mariners with knowledge of: international maritime law, agreements, conventions; national legislation and regulations; shipmaster’s business; master’s responsibilities during times of pilotage, marine occurrences, salvage, noting and extending protest and entering ports of refuge.

 

This course follows the guidelines of STCW 2010, parallels the framework of the IMO Model Courses and fulfills the requirements of the applicable sections of TP2293 and IMO Model Courses 7.01 and 7.03.
