Gain life-saving skills needed to perform your job.
This course combines Basic Life Support (BLS) with Airway Management & Oxygen Therapy to teach professional responders how to recognize and intervene where patients are suffering from cardiac arrest or respiratory arrest. The BLS curriculum is meant to support the delivery of high-performance, team based professional resuscitation training program. Learners will undergo an extensive practical examination portion in this course, which requires critical thinking skills and a thorough understanding of the theory component. This course is not basic CPR training but rather geared toward professional responders.
Successful participants will earn Canadian Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification, which is valid for 1 year.
