Course Description

 

Learn how to execute and control the progress of the project by effectively managing the administrative challenges. To ensure your project remains on track, you will discover how to measure performance, control change, and take corrective actions when necessary. You will work through the process to understand how to manage quality, manage procurements, and administer contracts. 

Learner Outcomes

At the end of this course, learners will be able to apply project management processes to:

  • Direct and manage project execution
  • Monitor and control project work
  • Measure project performance and identify variances
  • Apply the Earned Value Management model
  • Take corrective actions to recover projects
  • Control project changes
  • Utilize MS Project® to track project progress
  • Perform quality planning, quality assurance and quality control
  • Manage project procurement and contracts
