Course Description

Learn the close out procedures for an individual phase or completed project. You will work through an administrative closure, financial closure and transfer to operations, using the lessons learned review process for continuous improvement. Also, you will explore the Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3)® and how to set up a Project Management Office. 

Learner Outcomes

At the end of this course, learners will be able to apply project management processes to:

  • Close project contracts
  • Perform administrative and financial closure
  • Obtain project acceptance signatures
  • Conduct a project lessons learned review
  • Recognize project portfolio and program management concepts
  • Identify Project Management Office set-up processes
  • Explain the Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3)
