Course Description

This 21-hour micro-credential for Red Seal and qualified hairdressers focuses on the skills essential to success on a busy film set. It introduces learners to the positions available in the Hair department; the hierarchy of a film set; the role of the union, and processes and strategies for joining; the concept of continuity and best practices for maintaining continuity during shoots and reshoots; the use of continuity software; script and scene breakdowns; and the mechanics of hair design and process for men and women.
