Course Description

The industrial marine sector refits and repairs steel ships. Ventilation is required to protect welders, painters and others working in and on these ships. As shipyards expand to handle larger ships the challenge of providing good ventilation throughout a ship requires new skills and equipment. This course will provide appropriate training for the ventilation crew.

  • covered the basics of industrial exhaust system design and control of confined space hazards
